Are We a Good Match?

If you want to work on your own mental health and well-being and are considering if my approach could work for you, think about if any of the following resonate with you:

- I keep falling back into the same unhealthy patterns in all my life and my relationships. I want to change, but I don't know how.

- My relationships tend to be complicated. How can I learn to be a better partner, family member, or parent?

- I think I have anxious or avoidant attachment, and I'd be happier if I could learn to be more securely attached. How do I do that?

- When conflicts arise at home, at work, or with friends , I tend to get defensive, lash out, or say things I regret later. I want to change, but I don't know why I get so angry or how to control it.

- I have long dealt with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, suicide ideation, or low self-esteem. I want to learn new tools and strategies to deal with these issues better and be happier.

- Even though I know why I react the way I do, nothing I've tried helps me change it. I'm not even sure therapy can help, because I've tried so many things already, and I'm still stuck in my old ways.

- I'm really unhappy in my life right now. I want to make some changes in my career, relationships, or lifestyle, and I could use someone to be an unbiased help in figuring things out.

- I feel so lost in my relationship and unsure of what to do. It seems like ending things is the only option, but I don't really want to leave. Should I stay or go?

Do any of these sound like you? These are all problems my clients have shared at the beginning of our therapy sessions. They have been able to overcome these and other challenges by committing to the therapeutic process and making real changes outside of sessions. Many of the people I work with report feeling happier, more confident, and more able to cope with challenges and improve their mental and emotional health thanks to our sessions. If you are ready open up about your struggles, make positive changes, and try out new tools to cope with your issues and improve your life,  I am confident that therapy could make a big change in your life.

My Approach: Accountability + Action = Change

You're coming into therapy knowing that life feels bad right now, but aren't sure exactly why. Or maybe you have good insight into your issue are, but you aren't sure how to fix them. No matter where you are in your journey to better yourself, therapy can be an excellent tool in improving your emotional and mental health.

In our sessions, I'll be a compassionate guide who understands things from your perspective, meets you where you are at, and gives you tools, strategies, and advice to help you live a happier life. I'll help you reflect on the hard questions, identify ways you can live a happier and more fulfilling life, and cheerlead you as you make changes. I found that the consistent formula for therapy is: Accountability + Action = Change.

I use evidence-based tools rooted in:
